Trail Labs provides servicing and tuning with expert care and unparalleled speed. Our mechanical processes have been finely tuned by the industry’s leading experts in mountain bike suspension technology, and we follow the manufacturers' guidelines for servicing and rebuilding components.

We understand the value of your time and your need for quality service. So you can schedule your service with us remotely, ship your components to us, and we ship them back after your scheduled service is complete. Pricing is inclusive of tax and return shipping.

To book a service with Trail Labs, simply pick the day you want your component serviced, ship it to us from anywhere in the US, and we’ll send it back after your scheduled service is complete. You can relax until it arrives. It’s that easy!

TYPES OF SERVICE

We offer full service and mid season service for a variety of components:

FORKS - FULL SERVICE

We follow the manufacturer's recommendations for servicing intervals — typically one or more times per year, depending on riding frequency.

  • Complete disassembly of both spring and damper
  • Inspected for structural failures, such as dents, penetrations, cracked brake mounts, worn or loose bushings, etc.
  • Cleaned
  • Replace all seals, O-rings, bladders (if applicable) and other expendable components replaced on both the spring and damper
  • Dampers will be hand bled, or bled in a vacuum pump (if applicable)

  • Reassembled with fresh grease and bath oil
  • Functions check and final inspection
  • Bushings can be replaced if needed for an additional cost.

 

FORKS - MID-SEASON SERVICE

We follow the manufacturer's recommendations for servicing intervals — typically every 50 hours of riding, or more frequently if you ride in wet, muddy conditions.

  • Sliders (Lowers) are removed and inspected for structural failures, such as dents, penetrations, cracked brake mounts, worn or loose bushings, etc.
  • Dust Wipers and Foam Rings are replaced
  • Reassembled with fresh grease and bath oil

  • Functions check and final inspection (Cartridge dampers and FOX springs are not serviced during a Mid-Season service)
  • Bushings can be replaced for an additional cost, if needed


*If addition or removal of volume spacers/tokens/rings is desired, please indicate this in your message when booking your service. You may send in your own spacers/tokens/rings or buy them from us.

*If you would like to lengthen or shorten your fork's travel please call the shop in advance so we can verify the necessary parts are in stock.

SHOCKS - FULL SERVICE

We follow the manufacturer's recommendations for servicing intervals — typically one or more times per year, depending on riding frequency.

  • Air Can and damper disassembled
  • Inspected for structural failures (dents, penetrations, interior scratches on the air can, etc)
  • Fully Cleaned
  • All seals and O-rings are replaced


  • Dampers are hand bled or bled with a vacuum pump (if applicable)
  • IFP chambers are charged with Nitrogen
  • Reassembled with fresh grease and air can fluid
  • Functions check on a hand dynamometer and final inspection

SHOCKS - MID-SEASON SERVICE

We follow the manufacturer's recommendations for servicing intervals — typically every 50 hours of riding, or more frequently if you ride in wet, muddy conditions.

  • Air Can removed
  • Inspected for structural failures (dents, penetrations, interior scratches on the air can, etc)
  • Cleaned

  • Air Can seals and O-rings are replaced
  • Reassembled with fresh grease and air can fluid
  • Functions check on a hand dynamometer and final inspection

*If you need to replace your mounting hardware, please call the shop in advance so we can verify the necessary parts are in stock.

SEATPOSTS - FULL SERVICE

We follow the manufacturer's recommendations for servicing intervals — typically one or more times per year, depending on riding frequency.

  • Disassembled
  • Inspected for structural failures (dents, penetrations, interior scratches, etc)
  • Cleaned
  • Replace seals, O-rings, keys, bushings, IFPs and top caps if two years old or older

  • Reassembled with fresh grease and Reverb Fluid
  • Remote assembly bled
  • Functions check
  • KS cartridges can be replaced, if necessary (for an additional cost)
